Applying past wisdom to the future.

About the Project

Since 1987, individuals aged 60 years or older throughout Japan have been surveyed to elucidate the state of their health and lives and the changes they undergo in late life across a variety of dimensions, including physical and mental health, lifestyle, family, relationships with friends and neighbors, work and social participation, and economic circumstances.
